KUALA LUMPUR: Today experts confirmed Health Ministry officials close to Public Health Deputy Director-General Lokman Hakim Sulaiman, couldn’t help ‘coming out’ as the type of people who believed homosexuality could be prevented by holding short video competitions.
“I recall years ago, a young family member at a kenduri confessed he might be a Health Ministry official. It was difficult initially for us, but we learned to accept his decision to join the Ministry soon after,” said gender preference reassignment specialist, Abdullah bin Bakar,
“We had hoped the belief gayness could be prevented by wasting taxpayer funds on a video contest was something that could be cured, but Ministry officials insist this gay prevention behaviour goes much deeper than a mere ‘lifestyle choice.'”
“It isn’t easy to be a Health Ministry official, but this is an opportunity for Malaysians to learn how to tolerate minorities like us. We were just born this way,” a Ministry spokesman said.
