PAS insists only a Muslim should claim he’s not a public officer

ALOR SETAR:   PAS members reiterated today they would push for amendments to the Malaysian constitution that ensures only a Muslim can lead the country by not being a public officer.

“It should be a necessity that only Muslims claim the coveted not a public officer post,” explained PAS member Abdullah Bin Baker, “this ensures the not a public officer is someone who upholds Islam, in addition to evading lawsuits relating to him potentially costing the country billions through thievery or incompetence!”

Pro-government legal experts have confirmed the not a public officer role only applies to those leading the country since 2008.  This clears the way for the Bank Negara forex scandal task force to investigate confirmed former public officer, Dr Mahathir.
