EC Proposes SEA Games Finish Line Redelineation Exercise

PUTRAJAYA:  Today the Election Commission (EC) suggested a finish line redelineation exercise for next year’s SEA Games.

“SEA Games participants should accept Malaysia has its own principals of free and fair competition,” an EC official explained, “if start and finish lines were redrawn, we could win in contests we’d normally lose.   With the right considerations, we could ensure Malaysia sits rightfully on top of the gold medal table regardless of what the competition does!”

“Of course the EC is officially independent, but as an entity under the Prime Minister’s Department it never hurts to give these contests a tweak to ensure they go the way they should!”
