We can still afford JPA scholarships if PM donates his SRC Intl Visa air miles, says Govt
PUTRAJAYA: Today quick-thinking experts gave hope to candidates eligible for JPA scholarships devastated by news the programme had been scrapped.
“We understand the Prime Minister has charged millions on AMBank credit cards supplied to him by SRC International,” said public servant frequent flier analyst Faisal bin Bakar, “if he and the First Lady donate their billions of air miles, we can still send our gifted candidates abroad. We just need to find a college that accepts tuition in Enrich points!”
Experts are optimistic the PM will allow the use of his Visa card air miles seeing they are unlikely to ever be used. It is understood he and his family have not flown commercial in years.
