KUALA LUMPUR:  Today Pah King Ca, CEO of one of Malaysia’s largest glove makers Glove Me Long Time Sdn Bhd hit back at recent claims from PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang that turning to Islam would save the economy.

“We still see strong export potential for latex gloves,” he said in a statement to shareholders, “but we will chop our Malaysian forecasts by 50% in the event Hudud punishments are introduced into the country.”

Sources close to Hadi have suggested glove manufacturers diversify into other product lines such as stone quarrying as well as sword or guillotine making.

“We won’t need to work too hard to convince Malaysians PAS policies make sense,” said a party spokesman, “our economic performance in Kelantan speaks for itself!”
