KUALA LUMPUR: A study conducted by the Ministry of Education has revealed that millions of Malaysian Children are eating breakfast, lunch and dinner without a tablet screen to stare at.
“These are very damning results,” said a Ministry spokesman, “it means that thousands of hours of educational video watching time is being wasted while children are having food shoveled into their mouths. Many of these disadvantaged kids have to interact with other family members at the dining table and adopt conversational skills. These abilities will simply not be of any use to them when they grow older.” he said in a statement via WhatsApp.
“My two-year old is not allowed to eat unless he sits through a baby bright video or some rote learning cartoon,” said a responsible mother. The boy has problems sleeping and twitches a lot from over-stimulation but I’m not worried. I’m sure there is an App I can download that will calm him down!”
