SEPANG: The Prime Minister and Home Minister took a test flight on Malaysia’s newest budget airline today. Lompat Katak Airways is the brainchild of budding entrepreneur Mr Deepak Sekhar who obtained funding under the BN government’s Industrial Development Leap for Indians (IDLI) programme.
Mr Deepak told FMN, “Lompat Katak Airways is a revolutionary 100% green airline. We have two Malaysian Air Force F-5E fighter jets with no engines we found for sale on www.membeli.com.my. Passengers are hurled skyward in air conditioned comfort via our patented catapult system.”
“Lompat Katak Airways is the only airline authorized to fly between KLIA and LCCT airports. Passengers wishing to travel quickly between airports to catch interconnecting flights can do so whilst enjoying a scenic view of Kuala Lumpur. Unlike other budget airlines, Lompat Katak passengers are able to enjoy our inflight entertainment, ‘all you can eat buffet’ and unlimited hot and cold beverages for the entire 12 second flight at no charge.”
Editors Update: The Prime Minister and Home Minister are attending unscheduled diplomatic meetings in Sumatra and will return to Malaysia tomorrow. They said via satellite they enjoyed the Lompat Katak flight very much.
