stock chartKUALA LUMPUR:   The Securities Commission Malaysia (SCM) and Bursa Malaysia today honored 22-year-old college student Isa Nomini binti Abdul Aziz whose investing prowess has put Wall Street legends like Warren Buffett, Peter Lynch and Jim Rogers to shame!

On 7th September of 2008 Isa purchased 500,000 shares of No Hope Enterprise Bhd at $0.70 Ringgit a share.   One week later the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure awarded no hope with a lucrative Malacca roads and bridges contract sending the shares up 1040%.  Isa cashed out over three million ringgit richer.

In 2009 Karonie Construction Bhd and Sepupu Ofsumgai Sdn Bhd were awarded double track rail and overhead bridge contracts by the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure sending shares up 840% and 1240% just weeks after Isa’s timely purchases.  Outperforming hedge fund professionals, Isa has compounded a humble stake to over RM$100 million in just 3 years!

Unfortunately Isa was unable to attend today’s ceremony as she is studying how to decorate impractically shaped iPhone covers with glitter in the UK.   Gratefully accepting the award on her behalf was her proud father, Datuk Seri Abdul Aziz the Minister of Works and Infrastructure.
